Mousse Arashiyama - The Invigorating - Eau de Parfum

It is my favorite parfume and met with this amazing bottle in Parfume Le Dance shop in London. It is very fresh, green and smells like Spring.

Perfect harmony between limpid marine florals and deep earthy mosses is not commonly attempted, and less commonly achieved, but Mousse Arashiyama does exactly that. The perfect summer companion to LJR's Cuir de Russie, which I prefer for cooler months.

This fragrance was made for me. It takes me back to the years when I would run through wild meadows, far from the city bustle and close to the allotment gardens. It captures peace, joy, and the wonder of freedom. I need scents like this in times when the world is on fire.

Nice fig scent

There's a particular note in this fragrance that I love, and have been looking for in other scents, but this just nails it. Cool and spicy at the same time, it lasts forever on my skin, and smells great. I tried it as a sample, and then went and bought a full bottle.

Really feel like being in Kyoto

C'est une très belle création. L'ouverture est fraiche et fumée du mélange bergamote/encens, la note de lentisque est très présente et très agréable. Arrive ensuite une vraie feuille de figuier, avec des tonalités aquatiques. Je sens moins la figue que sa feuille.
Les notes de fond, boisées, sont délicieuses, assez masculines. L'évolution se ressent et j'aime ça, ce n'est pas linéaire. Il m'arrive de sentir à nouveau un peu d'encens, de la mousse de chêne...
Il est très beau l"hiver, il en accentue la fraicheur.
Je perçois bien l'inspiration du jardin japonais où poussent des milliers de bambous. Je me vois bien arpenter ses allées, puis rentrer dans un sanctuaire, dans un temple, où se diffuse un encens boisé, à l'extérieur, un petit étang bordé par un figuier. Magique.

If you like something like Hermes Le Jardin collection, you will probably love Mousse Arashiyama. It’s a figgy green mossy aquatic scent that has a super realistic oakmoss note.

Also lasts a heck of a lot longer than the Hermes options. Cant wait for the spring and summer to wear this!

I was taken aback by how herbaceous this scent was when I first sprayed it on, but it settled nicely the longer I have it on. Reminds me of sitting at the gazebo after the rain and just breathing in the scent of the grass and the gardens. So comforting.

I have been wanting this perfume for a while because of people talking about its unique mossy smell and it didn’t disappoint. The first note is thick moss with some woody, slightly sweet undertones. Smells perfectly earthy and mysterious.

Woody and Herbaceous...love the packaging and it shipped very fast! Can't wait to try other aromas. This scent was my top pic and there were at least 2 close seconds...

Imagine walking through a wet garden in the early morning just soothing & tranquil. Wonderful fragrance something I wear just for me.

L'odeur est extrêmement fraiche, comme si une lgre brise m'enveloppait. Je marche le long d'un chemin forestier et les arbres sont couverts de mousse. Je profite d'une merveilleuse journée ensoleille. Somptueux, luxueux. J'ai t ravi du sac en toile. J'aime la nature et préserver les ressources naturelles sans polluer l'environnement. Compliments.

The scent achieves the goal of transporting you to a sacred grove. Top notes are forceful and woody quickly giving way to more subtle tones. 4 out of 5 simply because Bois Tabac Virginia continues to be the gold standard (and those top notes may be TOO forceful).

This is a beautiful mossy foresty incense, with a lovely waft. I've never smelled anything quite like it. It's definitely become a favourite of mine.

This is a beautifully relaxing green fragrance with oakmoss, fig and aquatic notes. It perfectly evoke the silence of a peaceful forest, with just a trickling stream to join the birdsong. It's exactly what we need in a noisy, busy old world!
