Next to sandalwood sacre this is my favourite 9f the fragrances so far, it's enveloping, the type you can't stop going back for another smell of your wrist to capture each part of its evolution.

I knew I was going to love this one when I ordered a sample. I'm a big fan of this type of classic scent--I love Opium by YSL and Bal à Versailes by Jean Deprez. This feels like the quieter sister of those fragrances, softer and lighter but still complex and classic. The lemon top note is one of my favorite moments, which is a little bit of a divergence from other, similar scents, but it dries down to become less citrusy and more resiny, never powdery on me. This is the only item on my Christmas list this year! I hope Le Jardin Retrouvé never discontinues this special fragrance.

I’m very impressed with Oriental Sans Souci. This perfume has a handsome woody-spicy side and a cozy sweet-musky side, and the combination is addictively good. I’m able to smell it in the air for 4-6 hours and on skin for 12 easily, but it does not overwhelm or feel too sharp. Beautiful packaging, too.

En mars 2022, j'ai voulu visiter le magasin de ‘Le Jardin Retrouvé’ à Paris. Je voulais dire que j'aime leur parfum. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas trouvé le magasin. Donc je le dis ici.
J'aime Oriental Sans Souci, Citron Boboli, Verreine d'Éte et Eau des Délices. Tout délicieux! La façon dont les parfums sont présentés et emballés est également belle. Bref, une grande marque.

I love this amber which is enhanced by Neroli. It has a glorious opening which is absolutely enchanting. It has won me some wonderful compliments and it lasts well on into a pretty slightly-powdery drydown yet never becomes over-sweet. I thoroughly recommend it, especially to wear in the evening.

Soft and old-fashioned in the best way: elegant and sensual. Even makes orange blossom smell nice on me, which is rare with my stubborn chemistry! This house does good work.

Have been wearing a spray of Le Jardin Retrouve Oriental Sans Souci eau de parfum on my left wrist for 12 hours and it is still going strong. It is a wonderful fragrance that makes me think of the past. It makes me remember my grandfather. It has bergamot, patchouli, vanilla and coumarin notes that are the most dominant to my nose. It is a limited release that will ship out in October and it will be perfect for Autumn. This may be originally a scent from the 1960's that Yuri Gutsatz created but it should still resonate with anyone who has a desire to yearn for times once passed enveloped in a sensual and comforting warmth.

This is a stunning oriental, quite heavy on the vanilla (is there benzoin in here as well?), with gorgeous warm nuances of cinnamon and clove (I think that's what I'm detecting) - and a lovely, shy rose that gives the composition a smooth, velvety feeling. This one reminds me of a lighter and more demure, younger sister of Shalimar. It's like Shalimar without the pronounced citrus and iris (well, there's a bit of citrus in the opening of this black sample too, but it fades quicker than in Shalimar - at least on my skin). Very classy, elegant, beautiful and vintage-esque. I think I've found my favourite fragrance!

C\'est une combinaison tellement magique ! Le Maroc, pour moi, tait une rééducation totale des sens... c'était il y a longtemps... les fleurs d'oranger, les roses, les résines et les pièces ... (la famille y vivait, pour le travail ; je n'ai jamais voulu retourner aux études, j'aurais dû me battre davantage pour rester car il y avait tant à apprendre ! La fleur d'oranger marocaine avec le sambac de jasmin, est à la fois somptueuse et fortuite, ajoutez le mystère de l'Ylang-Ylang de Madagascar (qui, je l'avoue, ne m'a pas été présent correctement... moins que ce soit le paradis que l'on trouve dans la Tubéreuse Trianon) alors j'ai hâte ! Pour ceux qui aiment l'errance, qui ont une synesthésie poétique, qui peuvent imaginer ce jardin si clairement, cette création, inexplicablement, fera partie de leur me !
